1. Volunteer at farmers markets to help impose “recycling etiquette” or help kids make flowers at festivals!  See Volunteer calendar and email your available days. It’s that simple.
   

1. Join our grocery rewards program through Hillers or Kroger and donate 5% of your grocery bill to PLP.  Sign up here.
   

1. Give me your plastic: bottle caps, mesh potato/orange bags, yogurt/sour cream shampoo containers, peanut butter lids,easter eggs,playdough cups, little toys! Any plastic that is a COLOR.  These are used as art supplies for kids, emphasizing the importance of “reuse”.
   

1. Cut pots into petals for workshops.  I will supply materials and you can do this at home any time!

1. Become a Facebook fan on Peace, Love & Planet!
   

1. Promote PLP to your school, friends, family and neighbors. Recommend hosting a workshop.  It is fun, engaging and a great way to learn about planet preservation and waste reduction.  Workshops count as a Michigan Green School point. Email Gina at plp_gina@me.com to   schedule.
   

2. Inform community about recycling garden plastic instead of throwing into landfill.  Help promote sustainability!
   

1. Finally, set a good example for your kids.  Practice recycling and waste free lunches.  Help keep reduce single use consumptions so that our kids can enjoy the wonderful world we currently live in!
