PLP offers fun, engaging, outreach programs designed to promote environmental conservation and help develop “green” habits for children. We conduct workshops for schools, community parks and recreation departments, Brownies, Scouts and street fairs throughout the year. Earn a point towards your schools Michigan Green School achievement by hosting a PLP workshop. Check out Education section for details. PLP initiated a plastic recycle program to prevent garden plastic from entering our Michigan landfills and promote sustainability in our community. Garden plastic pots and trays, accumulated during the spring/summer planting season can be dropped off at convenient locations for recycling. See Recycle page for details.
